Instructions
Baking Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla extract and beat until smooth.
In separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture to form a soft dough.
Fold in holiday sprinkles or mini chocolate chips to personalize.
Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto prepared baking sheet.
Optionally sprinkle more decorations on top of dough balls.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges turn golden. Do not overbake.
Cool cookies for 5 minutes on pan, transfer to rack, dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
Cookies store well in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Freeze extra dough wrapped tightly for later use.
