1 measuring spoons
1 basting brush
1 plate
- 4 fillets salmon About 6 oz each.
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds Optional, for garnish.
- 2 green onions sliced Optional, for garnish.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the honey garlic mixture over them, making sure each fillet is evenly coated. Let it marinate for about 5 minutes.
Carefully place the marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer basket. Ensure they are not touching to allow even cooking.
Cook the salmon in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and has a slightly caramelized surface.
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
Serve the salmon hot, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.
Make sure to adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the salmon fillets.
For extra flavor, you can add a splash of lemon juice before serving.
This dish pairs well with steamed vegetables or rice for a well-rounded meal. Enjoy!
