Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 kitchen scissors or knife
  • 1 basting brush
  • 1 small bowl
  • 1 tongs

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces lobster tails About 5-6 ounces each.
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • as needed pieces fresh parsley, chopped For garnish, optional.

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Using kitchen scissors or a knife, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail down the middle, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull apart the shell to expose the lobster meat.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, paprika, sea salt, black pepper, and lemon juice together.
  • Brush the lobster meat generously with the butter mixture, ensuring you cover all exposed areas.
  • Place the lobster tails in the air fryer basket, meat side up. Make sure they are not overcrowded.
  • Cook in the air fryer for about 6-8 minutes, until the lobster meat is opaque and fully cooked (the internal temperature should reach 140°F or 60°C).
  • Once cooked, carefully remove the lobster tails from the air fryer using tongs. Brush with any remaining butter mixture if desired and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if using, and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

You can adjust the seasoning and butter mixture according to your preferences. Try adding cayenne pepper for heat or fresh herbs for additional flavor.
Cooking times may vary based on the size and thickness of the lobster tails, so keep an eye on them as they cook.
Serve with sides like rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
