Peel the onions and slice them into ½-inch thick rings. Separate the rings and set them aside.

Take an onion ring, dip it into the flour mixture first, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs. Press gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick.
Repeat the process for all onion rings.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
Lightly spray the basket of the air fryer with cooking spray. Place the coated onion rings in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they do not touch each other.
Spray the tops of the onion rings lightly with cooking spray.
Cook the onion rings in the air fryer for about 10 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Once cooked, remove the onion rings from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
