- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce adjust to taste
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 pieces green onions, chopped
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped optional
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha sauce, and lime juice until smooth.
In the same skillet used for the shrimp, add the cooked linguine. Pour the Bang Bang sauce over the pasta and toss to coat evenly.
Add the cooked shrimp to the pasta and toss gently to combine.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and cilantro, if using. Serve immediately.
For extra spice, you can increase the amount of sriracha.
If you prefer a lighter sauce, you can substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise.
This dish pairs well with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
