Equipment

  • 1 12-inch pizza pan or baking sheet
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 skillet
  • 1 whisk
  • 1 measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 rolling pin
  • 1 oven mitts

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups milk
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Open the biscuit dough can and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit to about ¼-inch thickness and arrange them in a single layer on the pizza pan to form the pizza crust, pressing the edges to seal them together.
  • Bake the biscuit crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, crumble the ground breakfast sausage and cook until browned. Drain excess grease if necessary.
  • Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage, stir well and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add the milk, continuing to stir to combine. Cook until the mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Evenly spread the sausage gravy over the baked biscuit crust, leaving some space for toppings.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the sausage gravy.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Pour the whisked eggs evenly over the cheese layer on the pizza.
  • Bake the assembled breakfast pizza in the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, then slice and serve warm.
