- 4 fillets salmon 6 oz each
- ½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning for seasoning the salmon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter ½ stick
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, honey, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Whisk until well blended.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season each fillet with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the honey butter mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove the salmon from the oven and drizzle any remaining honey butter over the top. Let it sit for a couple of minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
You can adjust the Cajun seasoning according to your spice preference.
For a complete meal, serve the salmon with rice or roasted vegetables.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave.
