Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the beef is no longer pink. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Stir in the rice, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well to combine.
  • Gently fold in the frozen mixed vegetables.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover it with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil, stir the casserole, then sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Return to the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can add your favorite spices or herbs for more flavor.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
