  • 1 oven

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese Can substitute with other types of cheese like pepper jack or gouda.
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Add the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the cheese mixture. Stir until it forms a sticky dough.
  • Using a spoon, scoop out approximately 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture and roll it into a ball. Place the ball on the prepared baking sheet and slightly flatten it.
  • Using your thumb or the back of a spoon, press down in the center of each dough ball to create a small indentation.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the appetizers to cool slightly for about 5 minutes.
  • Once cooled, spoon a small amount of hot pepper jelly into each thumbprint indentation.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature and enjoy your cheesy appetizers!
