Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded Can substitute with Gruyère or Cheddar.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Optional, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  • In the prepared baking dish, spread the shredded chicken evenly across the bottom.
  • Layer the diced ham on top of the chicken, followed by one cup of the shredded Swiss cheese.
  • Pour the cream mixture over the layers in the baking dish, ensuring everything is evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly on top of the casserole and finish with the remaining Swiss cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for about 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

You can substitute the Swiss cheese with Gruyère or Cheddar for a different flavor profile.
Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or broccoli to increase nutritional value.
