Ingredients
  

  • 300 g tortilla chips
  • 400 g canned chili with or without beans
  • 200 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 1 medium jalapeño sliced (optional)
  • 50 g sliced black olives optional
  • 1 small tomato diced (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning optional
  • Fresh for garnish cilantro optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the canned chili and stir in the olive oil and taco seasoning (if using). Heat for about 5-7 minutes until warmed through, stirring occasionally.
  • On a baking sheet, spread the tortilla chips in an even layer. Pour the warmed chili over the chips, ensuring an even distribution.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over the chili-topped nachos.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Carefully remove the nachos from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  • Top with sour cream, sliced jalapeños, black olives, and diced tomatoes (if using). Garnish with fresh cilantro.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to customize the toppings to your preference. You can add guacamole, diced onions, or any other toppings you like.
For a spicier kick, use pepper jack cheese or add more jalapeños.
