Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix melted butter and ¾ cup granulated sugar until smooth.
Add egg and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
In separate bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt.
Slowly add dry ingredients to wet mixture until soft dough forms.
Scoop 1.5 tablespoons of dough, flatten, and place one Dove candy in center.
Wrap dough around candy to form a ball.
Roll each ball in ¼ cup granulated sugar to coat.
Place dough balls on baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Flatten lightly.
Bake for 7-9 minutes until edges are golden and tops set.
Let cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes, then transfer to rack.

For gooey centers, don't overbake. Store in airtight container up to a week or freeze for 3 months.
