  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese room temperature
  • ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar

  • to taste herbs or seasonings Optional for flavoring

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • In the bowl with the egg whites, add the cream of tartar. Use an electric mixer or whisk to beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form (about 3-5 minutes).
  • Gently fold the yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites using a spatula until well combined. Be careful not to deflate the egg whites.
  • Using the spatula, scoop the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet into 6 equal portions, shaping them into round bread-like shapes.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the cloud bread is lightly golden and firm to the touch.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  • Enjoy your cloud bread as a delicious low-carb alternative!

Notes

Store any leftover cloud bread in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
You can customize the flavor by adding garlic powder, onion powder, or your favorite dried herbs to the yolk mixture.
