  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • Begin by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • In a blender or food processor, combine the cottage cheese, milk, Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the cottage cheese mixture into the saucepan with the sautéed garlic. Stir well and cook for about 5 minutes on low heat to warm through, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix until the pasta is evenly coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat everything together.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil leaves if desired.
  • For added nutrition, you can include sautéed vegetables such as spinach, zucchini, or mushrooms into the dish.
