- 12 ounces penne pasta
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts Cooked and shredded.
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (1 ounce)
- 8 ounces cream cheese Softened.
- 1 cup cheddar cheese Shredded.
- ½ cup bacon Cooked and crumbled.
- ¼ cup green onion Chopped.

- to taste pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
Begin by cooking the penne pasta according to the package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, add a small amount of oil. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center. Remove chicken from skillet and let it cool for a few minutes before shredding it with two forks.
In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and ranch seasoning mix. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Add the softened cream cheese to the skillet, stirring until it melts and forms a creamy sauce.
Once the cream cheese is melted and mixed well, add the shredded chicken back into the skillet. Stir to coat the chicken with the sauce, and mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together until well combined and heated through.
Serve the Crack Chicken Penne hot, topped with crumbled bacon and chopped green onions.
You can add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for a healthier twist.
Adjust the amount of ranch seasoning according to your taste preference.
