Cracked Out Chicken Tater Tot Casserole

- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken About 2 chicken breasts.
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled About 8 slices.
- 1 32-ounce bag frozen tater tots
- 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5-ounce can.
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- for garnish green onions, chopped Optional.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ranch dressing, cream of chicken soup, half of the cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the bottom of the greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Top the chicken mixture with an even layer of frozen tater tots.
Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy and the cheese is melted.
Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. If desired, garnish with chopped green onions.
