Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Once the beef is cooked through, add the beef broth to the skillet. Bring it to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Allow the sauce to simmer for another 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  • Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or peas for added nutrition.
This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated for a convenient meal later.
