Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken breasts and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Stir frequently to prevent scorching.
  • Reduce the heat to low, then gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.

Notes
