- 8 ounces bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey) Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- 1 can (15 ounces) sweet corn Drained.
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup sliced green onions For garnish.
Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula, and cook until it is browned and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper, and cook for an additional minute to release the flavors.
Add the drained sweet corn to the skillet, mixing it in with the beef.
Pour in the heavy cream and ranch dressing, stirring to combine. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes until the mixture is heated through and slightly thickened.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the cooked bowtie pasta and shredded cheddar cheese. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
You can substitute the ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for more nutrition.
This dish can also be prepared ahead of time and reheated when ready to serve.
