  • 1 non-stick skillet or frying pan
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 paper towels
  • 1 serving platter

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds salmon fillets, skinned and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, and black pepper. Whisk until well combined.
  • Add the salmon pieces to the marinade and let them soak for about 5 minutes.
  • While the salmon marinates, heat the vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • In a separate bowl, sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated salmon to coat evenly.
  • Once the oil is hot, add the coated salmon bites to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until crispy and golden brown.
  • Carefully flip the salmon pieces over and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked through and crispy on both sides.
  • Drizzle the remaining marinade over the salmon bites and cook for an additional minute to caramelize the sauce.
  • Remove the salmon from the skillet and place them on a serving platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish.

Notes

You can adjust the amount of honey and soy sauce according to your taste preferences.
