Ingredients
  

  • 6 breasts boneless, skinless chicken Approximately 2.5 lbs.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz.
  • 1 package cream cheese 8 oz., softened.
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix 1 oz.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • as needed for serving cooked rice or noodles

Instructions
 

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, softened cream cheese, ranch dressing mix, chicken broth, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Pour the soup mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot, ensuring that all the chicken is well coated.
  • Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on low for 6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Once done, shred the chicken directly in the crockpot using two forks and stir it back into the creamy sauce.
  • Serve the angel chicken over cooked rice or noodles and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

You can add vegetables like broccoli or carrots to the crockpot during the last hour of cooking for added nutrition.
This dish also freezes well. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
Adjust the seasoning based on your tastes; feel free to add more garlic or even some hot sauce for added flavor!
