In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Whisk until well combined.
In a medium mixing bowl, mix the baking soda, salt, and all-purpose flour together.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet banana mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
