Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices bread
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Softened
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese Or your preferred cheese
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper until well combined.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place two slices of bread buttered-side down in the skillet.
  • Layer two slices of cheese on top of each of the bread slices in the skillet.
  • Top the cheese with the remaining two slices of bread, buttered-side up.
  • Cook until the bread is golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Carefully flip the sandwiches using a spatula and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese has melted and the other side is also golden brown.
  • Remove the grilled cheese from the skillet and let it cool for a minute. Slice in half and serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to mix different types of cheese for a more complex flavor.
Add extra fillings such as sliced tomatoes, caramelized onions, or cooked bacon for added deliciousness.
Serve it with a side of marinara sauce or a simple salad for a complete meal.
