  • 1 large skillet or frying pan
  • 1 wooden spoon or spatula
  • 1 measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups mixed bell peppers, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions
 

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the diced onion and garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 2 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
  • Increase the heat to high and add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned (about 5 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Add the mixed bell peppers, broccoli florets, and ginger to the skillet. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes until the veggies are tender but still crisp.
  • Reduce the heat to medium. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sesame oil. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles on plates.

Notes

Feel free to substitute any of the vegetables with your favorites or what you have on hand.
For added spice, consider including crushed red pepper or chili sauce.
