  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup frozen peas optional
  • to taste grated Parmesan cheese for topping, optional

Instructions
 

  • Begin by cooking the egg noodles according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3 minutes, or until softened.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, dried Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • If using, add the frozen peas to the skillet and cook for 2 more minutes until heated through.
  • Combine the cooked egg noodles with the ground beef mixture, stirring until everything is well combined and heated through.
  • Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Notes

You can customize this dish by adding vegetables like bell pepper, carrots, or corn.
For a spicier kick, add crushed red pepper flakes to the beef mixture.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
