Equipment

  • 1 measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 chef's knife
  • 1 rice cooker if cooking rice

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables Such as bell peppers, carrots, and broccoli.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece ginger, grated
  • ΒΌ cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cups cooked rice or noodles
  • 2 green onions, sliced for garnish
  • optional sesame seeds For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the ground turkey to the skillet and cook until it is browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Break it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
  • Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the cooked turkey, and stir for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Toss in the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for another 5-6 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp.
  • Pour the teriyaki sauce and soy sauce over the stir fry, stirring well to coat all the ingredients evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  • Serve the stir fry over the cooked rice or noodles, and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Feel free to customize the vegetables based on what you have on hand, and add any other proteins if desired.
You can adjust the amount of teriyaki sauce for a sweeter or saltier flavor depending on your preference.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
