Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts About 1.5 pounds.
  • 4 cloves garlic Minced.
  • cup olive oil
  • 2 pieces lemons Juice of.
  • 1 piece lemon Zest of.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • as needed fresh parsley For garnish (optional).

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the chicken breasts to the bowl, ensuring they are fully coated in the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes for more flavor.
  • Transfer the chicken and marinade into a baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, you can marinate the chicken for up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
This dish pairs well with rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
