Equipment

  • 1 whisk
  • 1 baking dish
  • 1 meat thermometer
  • 1 aluminum foil
  • 1 tongs

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 pounds total.
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the chicken is well-coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, up to overnight for best flavor.

  • Once marinated, remove the chicken from the refrigerator and allow it to sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  • Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven, cover it loosely with aluminum foil, and let rest for 5-10 minutes to retain moisture.
  • Slice the chicken and serve warm, drizzled with any remaining marinade from the baking dish.
