Ingredients
  

  • 1 9-inch pre-made chocolate cookie pie crust
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping like Cool Whip
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet for topping
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and softened cream cheese. Using an electric mixer or whisk, blend until smooth.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the peanut butter and cream cheese mixture, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Spoon the peanut butter mixture into the pre-made chocolate cookie pie crust, spreading it evenly with a rubber spatula.
  • Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours to set.
  • Once set, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the pie and then drizzle with the additional 2 tablespoons of peanut butter.
  • Chill for another 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For added crunch, consider topping the pie with chopped peanuts or crumbled chocolate cookies.
This pie can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
If you prefer a darker chocolate flavor, you can use dark chocolate chips for the topping.
