Fold in the chopped pecans until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Place the pie dish on a baking sheet to catch any spills and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the pie is set and the filling is lightly browned.
