Equipment

  • 1 9-inch pie dish
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 electric mixer or whisk
  • 1 measuring cups
  • 1 measuring spoons
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 baking sheet
  • 1 aluminum foil

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made 9-inch pie crust pie crust
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the pre-made pie crust in the 9-inch pie dish. If desired, crimp the edges of the crust for a decorative touch.
  • In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer or whisk to beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Gradually add the granulated sugar to the cream cheese, mixing until well combined and creamy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract, corn syrup, salt, and ground cinnamon (if using) until fully incorporated.
  • Fold in the chopped pecans until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  • Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  • Place the pie dish on a baking sheet to catch any spills and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the pie is set and the filling is lightly browned.
  • Once done, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack. Refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
