- 1.5 lbs flank steak, sliced into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 bell peppers (one red and one green), sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- cooked rice for serving (optional)
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced flank steak, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, cornstarch, and vegetable oil. Mix well and ensure the beef is nicely coated. Set aside.
Layer the sliced onion and bell peppers in the bottom of the crock pot.
Place the marinated beef on top of the vegetables.
Add the minced garlic, beef broth, ground black pepper, salt, sugar, and ginger to the crock pot. Stir gently to combine.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours, until the beef is tender.
Once cooking is complete, taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
