Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound smoked sausage (such as kielbasa or turkey sausage), sliced
  • 4 cups green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced any color
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and heated through.
  • Add the sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and paprika, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and pour in the soy sauce. Stir to combine and cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender but still slightly crisp.
  • Season with black pepper and salt to taste. If desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or snap peas for added flavor and nutrition.
