Equipment

  • 1 baking dish (9x13 inch)
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 whisk
  • 1 spoon or spatula
  • 1 measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 oven

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb scallops, cleaned
  • 1 lb white fish fillets (like cod or haddock), cut into chunks
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko) Combine with a drizzle of olive oil for crispiness.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, scallops, and fish chunks. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Toss gently to coat and set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but do not brown it.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  • Pour the garlic cream sauce over the seafood mixture in the mixing bowl and gently stir to combine.
  • Transfer the seafood mixture into a greased baking dish.
  • In another bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with a drizzle of olive oil (if desired) to enhance the crispiness. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the seafood.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through and the top is golden brown.
  • After removing from the oven, let it cool slightly, then garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can substitute the seafood with your favorite choices or what's available at your local market.
Serve this dish with a side salad or crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
For an extra kick, feel free to add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic sauce before adding it to the seafood.
