Ingredients
  

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough 16 oz
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning 1 oz
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • ½ cup sliced black olives
  • ½ cup sour cream for topping
  • ¼ cup sliced jalapeños optional
  • Fresh to taste cilantro for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to fit the sheet pan. Transfer the dough to the sheet pan, pressing it to form an even layer.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat and stir in the taco seasoning according to package instructions. Set aside.
  • Spread the refried beans over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Pour the salsa evenly over the refried beans.
  • Sprinkle the cooked ground beef mixture on top of the salsa.
  • Evenly distribute the shredded cheddar cheese over the entire pizza.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  • Top the pizza with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, black olives, sliced jalapeños, and a dollop of sour cream.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro, if desired.
  • Slice into squares and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize your toppings based on your preferences. Consider adding avocado, corn, or different types of cheese.
For a vegetarian option, substitute the ground beef with a mix of black beans and corn.
This recipe can easily be doubled for larger gatherings.
