Ingredients
  

  • 1 French baguette French baguette About 12 inches long.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Softened.
  • 4 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 1 pound large shrimp Peeled and deveined.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 ripe avocado avocado
  • Juice of 1 lime lime juice To prevent avocado from browning.
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional) cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the French baguette in half lengthwise and place the two halves on a baking sheet.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and minced garlic. Spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of the baguette.
  • Bake the garlic bread in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until golden and toasted.
  • While the bread is baking, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook the shrimp for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they are pink and opaque.
  • In the meantime, slice the ripe avocado and sprinkle it with lime juice to prevent browning.
  • Once the garlic bread is ready, remove it from the oven. Place the cooked shrimp on top of the toasted bread, then layer the avocado slices over the shrimp.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, you can sprinkle some chili flakes on top before serving.
This recipe can be easily adjusted if you have more or fewer servings; just scale the ingredients accordingly. Enjoy this delightful dish while it's hot!
