Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices crusty bread Like French or Italian.
  • ½ cup unsalted butter Softened.
  • 4 cloves garlic Minced.
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound shrimp Peeled and deveined.
  • 1 whole avocado Sliced.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley For garnish.
  • to taste red pepper flakes Optional, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, and salt. Mix well until smooth.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture generously onto both sides of each slice of bread and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake the bread in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden and crispy.
  • While the bread is baking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  • In the meantime, toss the sliced avocado with fresh lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • Once the shrimp are cooked, remove them from the heat.
  • Take the garlic bread out of the oven and top each slice with sliced avocado followed by the cooked shrimp.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and, if desired, sprinkle red pepper flakes for a hint of heat.
  • Serve immediately while the bread is warm and crispy.

Notes

You can use any type of shrimp, but medium or large shrimp work best for this recipe.
For added flavor, consider marinating the shrimp in olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice for 15-30 minutes before cooking.
If you prefer a spicy kick, add some diced jalapeños to the avocado topping. Enjoy!
