Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet and sear half of the chicken for 3–4 minutes until golden. Repeat with remaining chicken and oil.
Transfer seared chicken to slow cooker.
In a bowl, whisk together orange marmalade, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, ginger and garlic until blended.
Pour sauce over chicken in slow cooker and stir gently to coat.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours. Stir, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve hot.
Notes
For best results, garnish with fresh green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with rice or stir-fried vegetables.
