Ingredients
  

  • 12 large jalapeños Slice in half and remove seeds for milder flavor.
  • 8 ounces cream cheese Softened.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 12 strips bacon
  • to taste fresh parsley For garnish, optional.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes (using gloves is recommended to prevent irritation).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Mix until well combined.
  • Using a spoon, fill each jalapeño half generously with the cheese mixture.
  • Take a strip of bacon and wrap it around each stuffed jalapeño, securing it with a toothpick if needed.
  • Place the wrapped jalapeños on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and golden.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
You can prepare these in advance and bake them just before serving.
These can be paired with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
