Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium head cauliflower About 1.5 pounds.
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup water Or as needed.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko or regular.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut the cauliflower head into bite-sized florets and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, whisking until you achieve a smooth, thick batter.
  • Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing the excess to drip off, then roll it in the breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  • Place the coated cauliflower bites on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping the bites halfway through baking for even crispness.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These bites pair well with various dips such as ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, or a yogurt-based sauce.
For extra flavor, try adding grated Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumb mixture.
You can make this recipe gluten-free by using gluten-free flour and panko breadcrumbs.
