Start by placing the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ranch seasoning and chicken broth. Pour this mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for about 6 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
Once the chicken is done, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks or a shredding tool.
Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir in the chopped bacon and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
Serve the chicken mixture on sandwich rolls. Top with optional lettuce, tomato, and pickles, if desired.
Optionally, prepare the chicken mixture a day in advance and store it in the refrigerator. Reheat before serving.
For an extra kick, add some hot sauce to the chicken mixture before serving.
